Preparation
The following materials are used to achieve the best fertilizer:
· Manure
· Sawdust
· Leaves
No type of chile or citrus is used. This solid humus (fertilizer) is left to ferment for 1 month.
Worms
We use red Californian worms, which are added to the fertilizer for 2 or 3 months.
Meanwhile...
The “liquid humus” that was obtained from the earthworms in the fertilizer, goes to a well where it is subsequently used for showering and watering the trees.
Compost
Our solid humus once it is ready, it is used and thrown to the plants.
Germination and Grafting
The bone of the Creole avocado germinates from 1 to 1.5 years.
Once 4 to 5 months have passed, the Hass or Méndez avocado seed is grafted.
Plantation
Once the roots and the stem have grown, they are planted on the ground.
After that, the tree is fed with the fertilizer.
Harvest
We harvest the avocado 6 months after the tree was planted.
